Welcome to The Loft a self-catering unit for up to 5 guests, on the east end of Alnwick town centre.
The Loft (of Hourglass Cottages) is a newly refurbished flat sleeping up to 5 guests situated opposite the main entrance to the Alnwick Garden and right next to the Bondgate Arch into the town. The Loft is housed within an historic building but has been given a contemporary feel whilst retaining its charm and character. The owners provide a generous, locally sourced welcome pack as well as lots of information on places to visit during your stay.
The main living area is an open plan kitchen/diner with an island and bar seating area with stools. There is a fridge freezer, full sized dishwasher, oven and microwave oven.
The lounge area contains a large L shape settee with coffee table for relaxing with a glass of wine while watching TV or planning the next days events.
The master bedroom is set behind the kitchen and is a large room containing a king sized iron bed frame, built in mirrored wardrobes with drawers and a dressing table with mirror and plug points set between them.
Within the hallway there is a small WC and separate bathroom with a large bath and over bath shower. Outside the bathroom is a small rack for hanging up jackets or fleeces with a bench and shoe storage underneath.
Next door there is a second bedroom with a beautiful triple sleeper bunk bed with single over a double. This is ideal for a family with up to 3 younger children who don’t sharing or 2 teens. Under the bed are 2 built in drawers for storage
The Loft has street access with a pull in space right outside for loading and unloading. Overnight parking is found directly opposite in the main town car parks where cars can be left free of charge for up to 24 hours at a time. These are well within a 2 minute walk from the front door.
