The Gatehouse

Welcome to The Gatehouse, a self-catering unit for up to 8 guests, on the east end of Alnwick town centre.

The Gatehouse (of Hourglass Cottages) is an historic 3 storey townhouse situated right on the Bondgate Arch as you enter the town.
The property has been recently renovated and comprises of a dining room, sitting room, garden room, kitchen, downstairs double bedroom with door to the garden. This room also has an ensuite and is ideal for guests with limited mobility.
Upstairs are 2 king-sized bedrooms , one with ensuite as well as a main family bathroom.
On the top floor is a twin room and a snug room with daybed and TV.

The Gatehouse has been given a new contemporary feel whilst retaining many original features. There are exposed beams, brickwork and a log burning stove.

The garden is tiered over 3 levels and also has a small courtyard with table and 4 chairs. There is parking on the disc system outside the front door or in the main car parks.
