There are many Online Booking services available which are available for a one off or annual fee and on which no commission is charged for bookings. The Committee would be happy to advise members of this type of service if required.

The Alnwick Tourism Association is a cooperative of local businesses, it exists to promote the businesses on this website and to provide information for the visitor coming to our area.

We strive to offer the best possible accommodation and service and if in the rare event that you are unhappy with the accommodation or services and wish to make a complaint please note the following.

On other matters the Association does not have the facility for dealing with complaints or to enter into correspondence with anyone for any other purpose. If you have a valid complaint about any members property please inform the business first to see if they can address the issue for you, if you need to take the matter further please contact the body who are responsible for awarding their classification and grading, which is Visit-Britain – you can check the validity of a rating for a particular business on Visit Britain establishment listings.

If you do not receive a satisfactory remedy to your complaint you may wish to take up the matter with your local Trading Standards Office – Thank you.
