Welcome to Hedgehope Cottage – a modern townhouse with a cosy, self-catering holiday cottage feel in a quiet location, close to all Alnwick’s town centre amenities, with a lovely quiet patio area to the rear with outdoor seating and bistro set.

The living room provides generous, comfortable seating (with footstools) for three people, a feature fireplace with electric stove, plenty of storage and a mixture of table lamps and floor lamps. There is a flat screen T.V with DVD player, a radio/CD player and plenty of books, DVD’s CD’s and games for rainy days and cosy evenings in. An open plan spindle staircase leads to the upstairs.

The Kitchen/diner is well-equipped with a washing machine, large fridge/freezer, built in oven, ceramic hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, coffee percolator and cafetiere. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and a range of glassware as well as stainless steel pots and pans and a range of baking/cooking equipment (including food processor and liquidiser)and a knife block. There is a generous circular table for dining, a utility cupboard with cleaning equipment, blinds to the kitchen window and back door window and under-cupboard lighting in addition to dimmable central spotlights.

Upstairs, the master bedroom (to the rear of the property) has a king size bed with ample storage, bedside cabinets (with lamps and a clock radio) a full-length mirror, wall-mounted mirror, hairdryer and shaver socket adapter. There are beautiful views of St Paul’s Church clock tower, the rooftops of Alnwick, Alnwick Castle and pastures beyond. The front bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinet with bedside lamp, and a full-length mirror as well as a table mirror. Both bedrooms have luxury linen, pillow protectors, mattress protectors and fluffy, white hand towels and bathsheets. The bathroom comprises a modern, white suite with toilet, pedestal wash hand basin (and a large mirror above) a Mira shower over the bath, with a double towel rail, towel ring and clothes hook.
