Alnwick Apartment is aptly named, a first floor apartment right in the centre of the historic market town of Alnwick. Situated above the sports shop in Market Street, the large double glazed windows in the living space offer super views across to the market square. It has been restored to an excellent standard and is deceptively spacious, making it a superb base from which to explore Alnwick and the surrounding area.

Alnwick Apartment benefits from being within easy walking distance of a wide array of amenities within this highly sought after holiday destination. With an award winning butchers and bakery right on the doorstep providing an excellent choice of prepared meals, meats, pies, bread and cakes, there is no need to get out the saucepans! A cinema/playhouse, restaurants, independent shops and a variety of pubs are all close by. The popular attractions such as Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden which boasts the largest tree house in Europe are both within easy walking distance. A visit to Barter Books – a large second hand bookshop located within an ornate Victorian railway station is a must for bookworms!

Permit parking areas (with restrictions) are located directly outside with many more in close proximity as well as long stay car parks within easy walking distance. Alnwick bus station is a 2 minute walk from the property, with buses serving the coast of Northumberland and travelling as far north as Berwick and south as far as Newcastle. Alnmouth train station is just a 10 minute drive away and provides a regular service to and from Newcastle and Edinburgh.
