Bailiffgate tells the story of 10,000 years of history of the Alnwick area Located in a Grade 2 listed church, it’s a welcoming, accessible and inspiring place to visit run by a friendly and creative team of volunteers. A wide range of events, activities and exhibitions take place throughout the year. You will find 2 floors of the museum which display artefacts which take you through the history of the Alnwick area and a top floor gallery space which displays a changing programme of temporary exhibitions, so pop back again to see what’s new!
We are open 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Saturday and Bank Holiday Mondays, Sunday: 11am to 4pm, throughout the year except the Christmas period.
