Artique at The Marina is an antique, vintage and arts & crafts centre with café located on the A1068 approach to Amble from Warkworth.
Formally The Old Marina Arms, this building was transformed and in June 2013 opened it’s doors as a fabulous Antique, Vintage, Art and Crafts Centre with adjoining café. Consisting of 30 dealers we can truly say there is something for everyone! Antique furniture and Collectables sit alongside Vintage & Retro delights.
Well known Northumbrian Artists and Photographers offer exciting visual treats, while expert Crafters delight with their unusual and creative quilting, felting, wood turning, pottery, jewellery and beautiful accessories for you and your home. And once inside you are reminded you are still on the Beautiful Northumbrian Coast line with Driftwood Sculptures, shell suncatchers, gifts made from local maps and inspired handmade soaps.
Once finished what better way to relax than in the Artique Café where a tempting selection of homemade soups, light lunches and cakes await. The focus of the cafe is delicious home cooking. Cakes, scones, soups, quiches and pies are home made with locally produced products used wherever possible. The cafe is open 10am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am – 4pm Sunday. Seating is available both inside and outside.
We hope you enjoy Artique and will return again and again…one thing is for sure, whatever the weather outside, you can be sure of a warm welcome inside.
