Situated on Prudhoe Street, Alnwick adjacent to the Police Station. Housed in what was once the old town bakery in the historic market town of
Alnwick, the Bakehouse Gallery offers the visitor a deceptively large space in
which to view the work of many talented local artists and designers covering a
wide range of themes, styles and subject matter.
Bespoke picture framing service available in-house at the Bakehouse Gallery, please call in or pop in for further information, frame styles and quotes.
Original oils, mixed media, ceramics, glasswork and metalwork are displayed
alongside jewellery designed by myself, Fiona Stanley, with choice pieces by
other designers and artisans. There is also a definite leaning towards tactile
art with felted sculptures and hooky wall hangings, wirework pictures and
vintage silk goodies.

Serendipity of Alnwick is a family run business specialising in art and photography.
All images are produced by father and daughter Anthony Holt and Sarah Jane Holt.
Sarah Jane is an award winning photographer who also specialises in pencil portraiture and ink artworks. She has taught photography, design and art in further education and has set up Serendipity of Alnwick to pursue her love of imagery and design full time.
Anthony Holt is a retired headteacher who has pursued his love of art for many years. Anthony’s animal and landscape artworks are extremely popular with
customers with his individual style of capturing both places and wildlife.
