The Shieling, Warkworth. LoungeThe Shieling is a spacious, luxury Scandinavian style cottage set in the rural grounds of Eastfield Hall, near Warkworth, Northumberland. It is highly recommended for its excellent location with magnificent sea views towards Coquet Island and Warkworth Castle.

This superb, single storey, detached property is light and airy with a
feature floor to ceiling window and a vaulted ceiling. It has an open plan
living area and doors to an attractive conservatory with views towards the sea. It is finished to a superior standard with quality furnishings and fittings and has a large lawn with part gravel garden. The Shieling has three harmonious bedrooms, one en-suite and two with sea views, plus a family bathroom.

Well insulated, warm and cosy with oil- fired central heating the Shieling is an ideal base for a family holiday and a cosy, intimate retreat for a stress-free, relaxing break in winter or summer.

The property is very centrally located for touring the heritage coast and inland areas of Northumberland. It is situated two miles from Warkworth with its restaurants, pubs, small shops, river, castle and beach. Historic Alnwick and Alnwick Garden is a mere five miles inland by quiet, country roads. The bus to Alnwick passes the entrance to the grounds. The Shieling, Warkworth, Bedroom.

Northumberland is recognised as one of the most beautiful and unspoilt regions in England. It is bordered by Scotland to the north, the Pennines to the west, County Durham to the south and the North Sea to the east. It has a history and heritage that is visible and vibrant.

The Shieling offers you a gateway to this truly magnificent and tranquil area, alive with culture and hospitality. We offer a personal welcome and can give information and advice on the many attractions available.
It is suitable at any time of the year for guests with a variety of interests or just to relax and “get away from it all”. Please call Carole Ann with any queries 0191 2584347.

Take the first turning left (Station Road) which climbs rapidly up the river valley. Follow the road for about a mile, crossing the main east coast railwal line. Continue for a further 1/2 mile until you approach a small group of buildings with stone gateposts on your left. Drive through the gateway, past the first group of buildings and take the first right following the gravel road. The Shieling is directly ahead of you.
