, The property can be booked as either one large cottage (Midwood Lodge and Midwood Cottage together) or as two separate cottages. There are 2 separate entrances and a short internal corridor with doors at each end which remain locked unless the Lodge and the Cottage are rented together.

, Midwood Lodge sleeps 5 (plus 2 on a sofa bed). There is a huge lounge with comfortable seating for 9 and a wood-burning stove along with a sunny conservatory and an open-plan dining area. There are two pretty bedrooms and modern kitchen and bathroom. The huge garden boasts a sunny but sheltered separate and private “Lodge” patio area.

Midwood Cottage sleeps 2 (plus 2 on a sofa bed). There is an open plan living area with a beautiful newly-installed kitchen. The light and spacious large bedroom has a super-kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. The huge garden has a separate “Cottage” patio area and lovely views. Availability

There is ample parking, which is rare in Alnmouth, and a storage area for bikes.  The huge garden has a unique tree house.

The cottage is private but ideally located with a two minute walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants in the village centre. It has a lovely cheerful and sunny aspect.
