Cottages offer unique character accommodation in an exceptional
location in the heart of rural Northumberland. They comprise
of two grade II listed properties Holly and Yew cottage which
were originally part of Lemmington Hall estate. There is ample
parking available.
These similar cottages were constructed around the end of
the 19th century. They have been sympathetically restored
and are set in approximately one acre of landscaped gardens
with mature trees and pond. Look out for an abundance of red
squirrels, woodpeckers and pheasants.
Each
centrally heated cottage has a bedroom, bathroom with bath
and shower and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The
comfortably furnished sitting room features an oak beam fireplace
with coal effect stove.
Each cottage sleeps a maximum of two people. Charges include
central heating, electricity and all linen and towels. Fitted
kitchens include washer/drier, dishwasher, fridge/freezer
and microwave.
All cottages have a hair drier, television and video, CVD
music system and are well stocked with a variety of books
and games. Both cottages have honesty telephones available.
