by the River Coquet and dominated by the splendid ancient
castle.
The enchanting design of open plan lounge has lovely garden
views and a wooden pitched ceiling which makes the Cottage
very attractive. There is a log burning stove to give you
a wonderful warm cosy evening, after a day of sightseeing,
country walking, cycling or one of the many other activities.
The luxury bathroom has a corner bath and a separate shower
unit with a Mira power shower, with plenty of room to relax
and re-energise. A sofa bed in the lounge can provide extra
sleeping if needed. Colour TV and video are provided. The
large garden is there for you to enjoy with patio and summerhouse
for your exclusive use. A special welcome pack is thoughtfully
provided.
Golf,
fishing and horse riding are all available nearby, as is the
famous Alnwick garden with its magnificent water cascades
and fountains. Amble is a fishing town nearby boasts a marina
and boat trips are available here, for fishing or to cruise
around the lovely Coquet Island, a bird reserve which hosts
a large colony of Roseate Terns. Warkworth has several pubs,
restaurants, a coffee house, shops and art galleries. I am
sure that you will not be disappointed with this lovely area.

Perfectly located in a beautiful village setting, close to the Heritage Coast and beaches of outstanding natural beauty. Just a mile away are glorious beaches and traditional little fishing villages. This breathtaking coastline is easily accessible from the cottages as is the market town of Alnwick, famous for its Castle and spectacular gardens.
