 'The
Byre', 'The Stable' and ' The Granary' are three luxury holiday
cottages retaining many original features and rustic charm
of 18th century farm buildings, from which they were converted.
The cottages have been tastefully and carefully furnished
to provide a high standard of accommodation within easy reach
of many of the attractions that make Northumberland so popular
with visitors.
Situated 2 miles from Alnwick and 3 miles from the beach
they overlook the River Aln, with lovely riverside and country
walks available from the cottages. Each is centrally heated
and comprises a living area with fully fitted kitchen (including
washing machine, dishwasher, gas cooker, microwave), and dining/lounge
with TV, Video, DVD and radio/CD player. Bathroom with bath
and separate shower.
 The
Stable has a double bedroom and first floor hayloft with
twin beds.
The Byre has a ground floor double bedroom. The Granary
has a double bedroom with en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin,
twin bedroom and bathroom with bath and separate shower.
The Granary bedrooms are on the ground floor with a
large open plan first floor kitchen, dining room and lounge
featuring exposed beams. The cottages have their own private
garden.
The Stable has patio doors with views to the river.
The Byre has feature arched windows overlooking the garden.
The Granary has outside steps from lounge area leading to
a garden with patio, lawn and flower borders. Car parking
is adjacent to the cottages.
The Stable is wheelchair accessible to the ground floor. Secure
bicycle storage available.
