Begonia House is a beautifully renovated 3 storey stone cottage with a Grade II listing, in the heart of Alnmouth, on the unspolt Northumberland coast.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms which sleeps 6, with one double room and two twin rooms, including attic room with sea views and 3 bathrooms with one ensuite.
The cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard. It is part of a former granary and one of the oldest buildings in Alnmouth with some original features, an open fire and an Aga. It has a wonderful secluded location offering spectacular views overlooking the golf course and sandy beaches. It is a perfect retreat for those wishing to experience all that the wonderful Northumberland coastline has to offer. Alternatively, guests can simply relax in the comfort of the spacious cottage soaking up the fantastic sea views.
Alnmouth is a coastal location with fantastic beach, estuary, golf course, children's play area, restaurants, pubs and shops all within minutes walk of the cottage.
The accomodation briefly comprises - ground floor - entrance floor - entrance hall with slate flooring, bedroom 2 - 2 single beds with beamed ceiling. Spacious kitchen/breakfast room - fully integrated with gas Aga, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine/drier, table and chairs, TV and slate flooring. Bathroom with over bath electric shower, WHB:WC and under floor heating.
First floor - spacious sitting room with open fire, large bay window with window seat and fabulous views over the golf course to the sea. Flat screen TV and DVD, CD player. Bedrooom 1 - master double bedroom with stunnng views of the sea, ensuite shower room, WHB, WC. Second floor - bedroom 3 - twin attic bedroom with velux window with separate WHB, WC and stunning views of the sea.
The Begonia House guest changeover day is Friday.
The cottage is generally only available for a minimum rental period of 1 week, starting on a friday. Short breaks are however available during off peak periods on request.
