The two charming terraced stone cottages stand in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick. They are both very comfortably furnished and well equipped.
Peaseblossom House is a splendid 4 star double fronted grade II listed town house. The house has recently been refurbished (Spring 2007) and everything inside is new. The accommodation includes a spacious kitchen/diner equiped with fridge/freezer, elec oven with gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer, the living room is lovely and light with TV and DVD player. There are two double sized bedrooms.
Juliet Cottage (3 star) is charming and is situated just one or two
minutes walk from Alnwick's town centre, Bondgate Within,
and near the Castle and Gardens. The living room has a feature stone fireplace with living flame gas fire and a dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted with washing machine, dishwasher,elec cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer.
The master bedroom features a comfy Laura Ashley iron bed and fitted wardrobe. The second bedroom has good
quality solid beech adult size bunks, with a
sleepover
truckle
underneath. The smart shower room has recently been refitted.
Externally there is a small self-contained gravelled courtyard
(safe for children) backing onto the Alnwick town walls.
The cottages are an excellent base for those wishing to unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the unspoilt wilds of the Northumberland countryside, spectacular heritage coastline, ancient castles, breathtaking scenery
and yet are situated only minutes away from the hustle
and bustle
of a quaint market town.
