27 Pottergate is a four bedroom townhouse in the heart of Alnwick’s historic Conservation Area. The house was built in 2004 as part of a small award-winning redevelopment scheme by Rivergreen Developments and Jane Darbyshire & David Kendal, Architects.
It has been completely redecorated, recarpeted and furnished with fine new contemporary furniture in 2010.
, The house is located just round the corner from Alnwick Castle, home of the Percy Family (Dukes of Northumberland) since 1309. A short stroll in the opposite direction brings you to Alnwick's historic market place, used by local farmers and tradesmen since Saxon times.
, The property is on three floors. On the ground floor: a kitchen/breakfast room, a family/dining room leading to the patio garden at the rear of the house, and a utility/ drying room . The lounge and master bedroom with ensuite bathroom occupy the first floor, and upstairs are one double and two single bedrooms and another bathroom.
