Welcome to West Acre House. Our aim is
to provide high quality comfortable accommodation, in a friendly
smoke free environment. The bedrooms are spacious and all have
en-suite bathrooms. They are equipped with Freeview TV, and DVD
Players, tea and coffee facilities, fresh fruit and complimentary drinks are also provided. "Make yourself

you are more than welcome to explore and make use of the large garden. The Garden
is approximately 1 acre of lawn, established shrubs, herbacious borders and mature
Lime trees, it is always colourful and a delight to walk around.

 The 1st floor landing is very spacious affording a large amount of privacy between the bedrooms, the windows overlook the large one acre gardens and views over open countryside.
The large bookcase contains booklets on stately homes in the area + maps and walking information. A smaller bookcase contains an interesting collection.

 Our bathrooms are all equipped with showers, whilst three of the bathrooms also have baths, they are all tiled with luxury tiles and coordinating fittings. Relax with quality soaps and bath salts, and feel the comfort of the Egyptian cotton Christy Towels after your soak in the bath.
Breakfast is unhurried, and is a feast to behold, with numerous choices of cereal, yoghurt, porridge, fresh fruit salad, fruit juices, and of course cooked breakfast and variety of toasted bread.
Due to the many and various places to eat, we find that guests enjoy the opportunity to eat out and sample the many different types of food places on offer.

By road: From the A1 take the A1068 road, at the 1st roundabout go straight on, at the 2nd
roundabout, turn right, heading towards Alnmouth,
then take the second turning on your left into West Acres. (Ignore the first
turning which is signed West Acres as the street has two entrances!) West Acre House is then the
2nd house on your right. (Look for the Tourist Board sign) |
