River Cottage is a small private house. We have just two letting rooms. We are situated in a beautiful rural location on the edge of Felton Village overlooking the River Coquet and much of the river valley. The vistas are beautiful in any season. Felton is convenient for Alnwick and all Northumberland.

Both rooms are comfortably furnished one having an En Suite shower/WC the other sole use of Private bathroom with bath/shower. Both rooms have full Hospitality Tray, TV, Hairdryer, clock radio. One room can accomodate one or two children on a bed settee.

Our sitting and dining rooms are extremely well furnished. we have a large collection of Art and Boat books along with several on Northumberland which we are happy to share with guests. Our lovely garden is at the disposal of our guests weather permitting comfortable chairs and recliners are supplied. Mouldshaugh is a peaceful, tranquil location for the pefect get away from it all break.

We excel at provision of good food. Our guests tell us breakfast sets them up for the day. Evening meals cooked to order only, are always well received by our guests. Good food and a friendly welcoming atmosphere are here for all our guests to experience. We are convinced you will enjoy a stay with us.

If you are not wanting to eat with us there are two good pubs very close at hand.
