Enjoy a relaxing break in our comfortable home on the edge of the peaceful, quiet village of Embleton.
We offer one en-suite room, well furnished with tea/coffee making facilities, as well as a cosy sitting room with TV for your personal use. Also the front garden with patio area is available for your enjoyment. Breakfast is served in our dining room using the best of local/home-made produce wherever possible; including, of course, the famous oak-smoked Craster kippers. There are many good places to eat, both in the village and close by.
Embleton is an ideal place to stay and from which to discover Northumberland, whether you are coastal or hill walking, cycling or touring by car. There are buses connecting with trains from Alnmouth station which is about 8 miles away. Newcastle airport is less than an hour's drive.
Our local beach is 10 minutes walk from the accommodation with its unspoilt, golden sands dominated by the haunting ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. Embleton has a local "links" golf course which welcomes visitors, and there are several others in the area. It is a bird watchers' paradise with a local bird sanctuary and regular boat trips from nearby Seahouses to the Farne Islands.
